For tonight,
Let the winds singing in the palms be your solace
Let the sun baked earth and trees and mountains
Be your perfume, and a balm on your uncertain heart

For tonight,
Know that you are exactly where you need to be
And that the gentle sea is rocking you in its arms
Keeping a strong arm around you for as long as you wish to stay

For tonight,
Know that they are all a heartbeat away
That neither distance nor absence of words can disrupt
And that there love for you keeps you afloat

For tonight,
Know that change is good
And can only lead to bigger and better places
As long as you believe in them, they are yours

For tonight,
Know that he is also out in the world
Wondering where you are
And how long it will be before he can hold you close

For tonight,
Just be present to what is
In every moment, breathing in…breathing out
There is peace
